What the marketplace does

032 Ventures operates its marketplaces as an intermediary, not as a retailer. For you as a brand this means: you remain the seller in legal terms. The purchase contract for the goods is formed between you and the customer, you ship the goods and you carry the corresponding obligations (including warranty and product information).

In return, the marketplace takes care of:

• presenting your products in the shop,
• payment processing (the customer pays the platform, not you directly),
• bringing you reach, campaigns and catalogue placements.

Catalogue brands are not a special case of the intermediary model, they are not a sales case at all: a brand that is only listed in the catalogue (see Campaigns and catalogue) sells nothing through the marketplace. It buys an advertising service from us. There is no brokered purchase contract, no payout and no commission; we issue the invoice for the advertising service.
