Settings
Under Settings lies everything that belongs to your brand and not to a single product. What you save here is picked up by the marketplaces within two minutes.
Payments
So that we can transfer your money to you, you set up an account with Stripe once (Stripe Connect); it covers all marketplaces. The "Set up Stripe" button takes you to Stripe and back; your bank and identity details go directly to Stripe and never reach us. If Stripe later requires further details, the page shows which; until then we cannot pay out. "Open Stripe dashboard" takes you to your account there. When money arrives is described under When you get paid.
Tax details
Company name as registered, or first and last name with legal form, address, ship-from country (where the goods are shipped from, the tax treatment depends on it), tax number, VAT ID and return address. Without these details no product may go live: we are obliged to record them and are liable for VAT if they are missing.
We check the VAT ID immediately after saving against the EU system VIES, usually within seconds, and weekly after that, because a number can be revoked. For brands in the EU it is mandatory, outside the EU it is not required. A changed number resets the previous check. The tax background is explained under Taxes.
Direct debit
A SEPA direct debit mandate for the clicks and the catalogue commission, which we bill monthly. The direction of money is the reverse of the payout: you pay us, hence a separate item. One mandate covers all marketplaces, you sign only once. The form and the mandate text are provided by Stripe; afterwards the page shows the last digits of the IBAN and the mandate reference. Only needed if you are in the catalogue.
Commission invoices
The commission invoices we issue to you per marketplace and month, with number, marketplace, period, date of issue, net, VAT and gross. The commission was already withheld at the time of sale, there is nothing to pay. Every team member sees the list. If a marketplace does not respond right now, this is stated above the list, and its invoices are missing from it until you try again.
Two things, so that you do not search in vain: an invoice only appears here once it has been issued, not while the month is being settled; until the first invoice is issued, the list is empty. And you download the PDF with "Download PDF" in the invoice's row; drafts are not shown. You get all invoices as a table under Data export.
Profile
Brand name, logo, email address for customer enquiries (support emails go there and, if you wish, news), phone number, contact person (optional) and website. The two switches for email news are here as well, see Notices and email.
Team
Who besides you has access to the brand. You invite a person with their email address; they register with exactly that address in the Seller Center and then see your brand. We send them an invitation email in your language; if the address already has an account, the person has access straight away. If the email could not be delivered, the page tells you, and you let the person know yourself. Invited people can edit everything, products, details, orders; only changing the team, stopping sales and downloading the data stay with the owner. Access can be revoked at any time.
Documents
Your legal references: the question whether you are entered in the commercial register, and if so the register court and number; plus terms and conditions, privacy policy, withdrawal policy and legal notice as links to your own pages. Terms, privacy policy and withdrawal policy are mandatory, without them the setup cannot be completed; the legal notice is not required by the form. Your own obligation to provide one is unaffected. The links appear at your products and in the checkout. With a Shopify connection we take over terms and privacy policy from your store (under Sync); you can overwrite them here if different ones are to apply for the marketplace. Anyone selling commercially needs a legal notice, sole traders included.
Insurance
Your business and product liability insurance: insurer, policy number, sum insured and the expiry date, plus the proof as a PDF or photo. Without this information no product can go live (§ 3 (7) of the marketplace agreement). If the cover expires we remind you 60 and 14 days beforehand by e-mail; after that we may suspend your offers until new proof is available. We do not switch off running offers by ourselves. The proof is stored privately and can only be retrieved by you and by us.
Data export
Here you download your brand's data from all marketplaces as a file, as often as you like: as CSV for spreadsheets or as JSON, complete, for further processing. There are four areas to choose from:
| Area | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Products and variants | one row per variant, with price, stock and the status on each marketplace |
| Orders and sales | one row per order from all marketplaces, with amount, shipping, commission and state |
| Commission invoices | the issued invoices per marketplace and month, with net, tax and gross |
| Creator commissions | per creator and marketplace: sales, earned and open commission |
What is deliberately not in it: names, addresses and email addresses of your customers. You continue to see them individually per order under Orders. A creator's email address is only included if the creator has consented. If a marketplace does not respond, the page names it, and the file is then incomplete; try again later. If a marketplace has too many orders for one file, the file contains the most recent ones, and the page says so.
Only the owner of the brand can download. If two-factor sign-in is switched on, it must be confirmed in the current session.
After the end of the contract. As long as your account exists, including after you have stopped selling, you download yourself. Once your brand account has been deleted after a termination, the button is gone. We then provide the same file on request: write to us within 30 days of the end of the contract at contact@032-ventures.com. It contains the same areas and likewise no customer data.
Account
- Access. You sign in with the address you created your account with. To change it, write to us; there is no self-service way for that yet. The address for customer enquiries in the profile is a different one and can be changed at any time.
- Stop selling. Your products disappear from all marketplaces. It is not an account deletion: access, details, Stripe account and connected store remain. Paid orders not yet shipped remain and must be shipped; payouts continue until everything is settled. To confirm, you type in your brand name.
- Resume selling. Your brand then returns to "Setup in progress", not live immediately, because between stopping and returning your address, tax number or legal form may have changed. Under Setup you see whether everything is still complete and complete the setup again; then the brand is approved again. Your listings are kept, you do not have to set up anything again.
- Delete the brand. There is no button for this. Terminate in text form and write to us that we should delete the brand account; data that serves as records stays stored for the statutory periods.
Security
Two-factor sign-in is optional and recommended: in addition to the password, signing in asks for a code from an authenticator app. When you set it up you receive recovery codes. Each one works once and is the only way back into your account without your phone; you see them only this one time, so keep them safe. Switching it off requires a code from the app. The sign-in applies to the Seller Center and the Creator Center together: whoever sets it up in one has it in the other as well.
Appeal
The last item under Settings is the form for a complaint against a decision by 032 Ventures. What it can be directed against and how the procedure works is described under Complaints and the figures on them.
